Walgett Pool Update

Significant progress has been made at the Walgett Pool during the week and the impending opening date will be announced very soon.

This is not a maintenance issue and is a result of unforeseen circumstances which have taken more time than expected to remedy.

Our teams are working hard to rectify the situation as quickly as possible.

Council fully understands the importance the pool holds for our community in the warmer weather.

We appreciate that this has been frustrating for the community, however public safety is our top priority.
