With the Freedom Ride event on Monday, 17 February 2025, please note that Fox Street will be closed from Euroka Street to Wee Street.

Detours will be in place.

  • Road Closure Starts: 6:00 AM
  • Freedom Ride Event: 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. We kindly ask all drivers to:

  • Drive with caution
  • Plan your trip ahead of time
  • Obey all traffic signs and conditions

Please be aware that there will be increased pedestrian activity and parking in the Walgett Main Street area during the event. Your patience and cooperation are greatly appreciated!
