Please note, due to our Staff Development Day on Wednesday 26 February 2025, the following services will be closed:

  • Walgett Council Office
  • Walgett Library
  • Walgett VIC
  • Lightning Ridge Services Australia Office
  • Lightning Ridge Library
  • Lightning Ridge Youth Centre
  • Lightning Ridge VIC

For any urgent matters, our phone line will be available for after-hours emergency calls at 02 6828 6100, or you can email us at admin@walgett.nsw.gov.au, and we’ll give you a call back on Thursday.

Colly Agency will remain open.
