Update on Collarenebri Pool

Just before Christmas the Collarenebri Pool’s filtration system malfunctioned. While repairs were immediately initiated, we are currently awaiting parts to be delivered to restore the system. The pool will remain closed until these repairs are successfully completed, with the target reopening date set for Monday next week (8/1/2024).

During this time the pool contractor resigned with no notice.

Moving forward, Council has made a decision to operate the pool as a community facility. Keys and waiver forms will be available from the Agency in Collarenebri.

Please be advised that all tickets will now require a key deposit.

**New Ticket Pricing:**

Season Pass for the remainder of the year:

- Family: $110 including GST

- Single: $60 including GST

 

Pool Entry Requirements - All pools (excluding Lightning Ridge)

 

To enhance safety, we've implemented the Royal Life Saving Australia KEEP WATCH Standard across all our pools. This mandates the following:

- All children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult (16 years or older) to enter our pools.

- For 0 – 5-year-olds and non-swimmers, the adult must stay within arm’s reach.

- For 6 – 10-year-olds and weak swimmers, the adult should be close, prepared, and maintain constant visual contact.

- For 11 – 14-year-olds, the adult must maintain visual contact.
