Notice of Extraordinary Council Meeting

Notice is hereby given, in accordance with the provisions of the Local Government Act 1993, that an Extraordinary Meeting of Walgett Shire Council will be held at 9.00am on Tuesday 28 January 2025 at the Walgett Shire Council Chambers, 77 Fox Street, Walgett NSW.

This meeting will be held in closed session to discuss the Walgett Skatepark Tender Selection. The report has been classified confidential in accordance with the provisions of the Local Government Act 1993 as follows:

Section 10A(2)(c) information that would, if disclosed, confer a commercial advantage on a person with whom the council is conducting (or proposes to conduct) business

Section 10A(2)(d) commercial information of a confidential nature that would, if disclosed:
(i) prejudice the commercial position of the person who supplied it Section 10A(2)(d) commercial
information of a confidential nature that would, if disclosed:
(ii) confer a commercial advantage on a competitor of the council Section 10A(2)(d) commercial information of a confidential nature that would, if disclosed:
(iii) reveal a trade secret

Notice of Ordinary Council Meeting

Notice is hereby given, in accordance with the provisions of the Local Government Act 1993, that an Ordinary Council Meeting of Walgett Shire Council will be held at 10.00am on Tuesday 25 February 2025 at the Lightning Ridge Office, 35 Pandora Street, Lightning Ridge, NSW.

The agenda for the Meeting will be available from Council Website at least 3 days prior to the meeting. 

The open meeting will be Live Streamed and recorded, with the recording made publicly available from Council’s website.

Members of the public wishing to address the Public Forum are requested to fill the form(PDF, 335KB) or to contact Council by telephone 02 6828 6100, admin@walgett.nsw.gov.au  or in person. Persons not registered to speak will not be able to address Council.
